Wadi al-Dayf fell to al-Nusra.  This pro Assad base in Central Syria, had been besieged for the last two years, and more.  al-Hamidiyah also is under attack by Ahrar al-Sham and al-Nusra, where most of al-Assad encampments had fallen.  The only thing left for al-Assad in that area is al-Hamidiyah itself.  al-Nusra made gains in the absence of the groups that had been besieging Wadi al-Dayf.  al-Nusra had launched a recent attack on the beleaguered base.  al-Assad troops most likely withdrew and left few to defend as the case we see in many occasions.
