• Khilad al-Qahtani’s identity was guarded well by the Islamic State of al-Iraq wa-al-Sham ISIS and later the Islamic State IS till his death in al-Baghuz. His importance stems from the mega hits he voiced and how much they are used. These hits appear daily on audio platforms and of course seem along visuals through the recurring Isdarat.

Like the case of Abu Yaser and Salil al-Sawarem, some of Khilad al-Qahtani‘s most important Nasheeds were attributed to others, like the case of Lana al-Murhafatu. Some claimed erroneously that Abu ‘Abd al Malek is the singer of Lana al-Murhafatu.
